THIS SATURDAY, JULY 24th, "The Dead Matter" will be screening at the Geauga Theater in Chardon Square (101 Water St., Chardon, OH) at 8pm. Admission is $8 with proceeds going to help build the Film Department at the new Geauga Arts Center. Afterwards there will be an after party at Chardon Brew Works & Eatery (right next to the theatre on the square). It's a great micro brewery and should be a great time. NEXT FRIDAY, JULY 30th -- "The Dead Matter" DVD will be available at ALL Hot Topic stores in it's own display right next to the registers. It will be a special 3-disc set that includes: the DVD, Midnight Syndicate's Greatest Hits CD, and the soundtrack CD to the movie. Hot Topic will be offering the set for only $19.99. Thank you for your support! --- Midnight Syndicate	New The Dark Masquerade EP featuring Midnight Syndicate coming July 2nd On July 2nd, Midnight Syndicate's Linfaldia Records will release The Dark Masquerade. This 6-song EP features lyrical soprano Destini Beard adding her haunting vocals to five classic Midnight Syndicate tracks and a previously unreleased remix. Destini is the daughter of world renowned fantasy artist Ed Beard Jr., who designed the cover art (as well as the cool skull image to the left). Destini will be performing at Inconjunction this weekend and will be signing at the Midnight Syndicate Soundtracks Booth at GenCon (Booth # 507). See below for more information on that show. Several The Dead Matter screenings and special Midnight Syndicate appearances, including a first-ever MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE PANEL at this year's DragonCon, have just been confirmed. Scheduled events include a premiere in CHARDON,OHIO, a CHICAGO double-feature with The Rage, Fright Night Film Fest (LOUISVILLE, KY), Gen Con Indy (INDIANAPOLIS, IN), DragonCon (ATLANTA, GA), and Ghost Fest Expo 4 (LONG BEACH, CA). Check back on The Dead Matter site and Facebook for updates!   Special The Dead Matter screening and signing at Gen Con Indy Gen Con will host one of the first public screenings of The Dead Matter on Friday, August 6th at 4:30pm in the Westin Capitol III room. A Q&A with director Edward Douglas and cast members Jason Carter, Brian Van Camp, Christopher Robichaud, Jessica Cameron, and Donna Williams will be held immediately afterwards. All five cast members will be available at the Midnight Syndicate Soundtracks booth (# 507) for a signing on Saturday, August 7th at 1pm. DVDs, CDs, and merchandise will be available for sale. Gen Con Indy holds the largest gaming convention in the country each August in Indianapolis, Indiana. This year it will be held August 5-8. At Gen Con you will find something for everyone! They have board, card, role-playing, miniature family and electronic games. With over 8,000 events and 250 vendors, there is plenty to do for the entire weekend.
